About

The Springs Philosophy

The Springs is a catalyst for intentional aging.
Adults who are 55 and older in the Frankenmuth and Great Lakes Bay region will experience a first for the area. The Springs brings together four key elements identified by leaders in the aging service field as contributing to proactive and healthy aging.

Age-Friendly Home Design

The condominium homes at The Springs are designed to support aging — because we know needs may change over time. Features include zero-threshold entries (no steps into the home), pocket/slider doors on bathrooms and bedrooms, and choices in appliances and cabinetry.

A la Carte Services

The needs of active older adults can change over time — lifestyle and health challenges can develop. To accommodate the individual needs of community members, The Springs offers service coordination through our Community Manager. This ranges from wellness and health programming, to turnkey services, pet care, in-home help and healthcare as needed.

Technology-Supported Lifestyle

Whether you are using social media to stay in touch with loved ones near and far or using wellness monitoring technology, The Springs helps access what you need, when you need it — based on personal needs and goals. Technology in the aging services space is growing exponentially, and The Springs relationship with Wellspring Lutheran Services will provide a vital link to the latest aging-related technology.

Home Affordability

Regardless of age, affordability varies from person to person, couple to couple and family to family. The condominium homes at The Springs provide an array of pricing with a focus on the modest middle-income older adult household.

We know when age-friendly home design, technology, services and affordability all come together, older adults can age proactively with better outcomes. That’s why The Springs is right for people who have lived their lives with planning and intentionality – and intend to age the same way.

The Builder

FPO
The Springs is being developed in partnership with Koester Builders – and they’ve been helping build Frankenmuth for more than 50 years.

John and Leone Koester started this family-owned business back in 1968. Today, it’s a second-generation family business, and they’re still helping Frankenmuth be a place that’s good for families of all ages.
